- ➤ The Franklin Rodeo will run May 15-17 with cowboys and cowgirls competing in events like bronc riding, bull riding, racing and roping, while community sponsors and volunteers help raise money for local charities—organizers say that support has granted millions to area causes over the years. - ➤ Arrington Farmers Market opened its first season on Wednesday, May 7, outside the seasonal Farm Store at 6361 Cox Road at Delvin Farms—its weekly market, running until Oct. 29 from 3:30-6 p.m., will feature up to 40 vendors and about 15 local farmers—offering fresh produce, dairy, and farm-raised goods.
