- ➤ Representatives from five law enforcement departments and the Tennessee Highway Patrol attended the annual Fallen Heroes Memorial Service at Franklin Theatre today. Speakers, including sheriffs Jeff Hughes & Jeff Long, honored the eight officers who died while serving the community. Williamson Herald

- ➤ Halfway Market and Diner at 1419 West Main Street closed after a fire hit the restaurant on Wednesday at 4:32 p.m. — the business said it is grateful that everyone is safe as it plans next steps. Williamson County Source

- ➤ Marie from Flowers From The Heart hosted a flower-arranging class today at The Goldton (Spring Hill), where seniors learned to pick, snip, and arrange blooms into unique bouquets that now brighten their rooms. Williamson County Source
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Williamson County Solid Waste announced free disposal will end until Jan. 2 and loads will incur regular fees at its Franklin facility on Pinewood Road. The county also began accepting brush limited to 3-foot lengths to reduce trucking costs. Williamson Herald
