Local McDonald’s Owner/Operators celebrated Mother’s Day early with a visit to Ronald McDonald House Charities in Nashville, where they delivered flowers + cookie totes and presented a $21,578 check from the Shamrock Shake fundraiser to support families.

This week, live music fills the region with six shows including The Black Crowes & Whiskey Myers at Bridgestone Arena and Godsmack in Franklin on Tuesday, May 19 at 7 pm.

Other events feature Alter Bridge, Trace Adkins, Chris Stapleton, and Culture Wars in Nashville venues.

Franklin will honor fallen heroes at the Williamson County Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park (611 W.

Main Street) with limited seating and a Gold Star Family tent available.

The Franklin Fire Department and partners will host a free Community CPR + Public Safety Day on Wednesday, June 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Factory after bystanders saved a 65 year old man in December, offering CPR, AED and emergency response sessions.
