- ➤ Family Geocaching Day will be held on Saturday, June 14th at Owl's Hill Nature Sanctuary in Brentwood (545 Beech Creek Rd S) where families will use GPS devices or smartphones with Google Maps to search for hidden caches on a kid-friendly course, with check-in from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and trails open until 3 p.m. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $8 for children 5 through 12, while children 4 and under attend for free. - ➤ On May 30, Donna Vissman interviewed Katelyn from Dirty Dough to cover their new cookie location in Franklin — the bakery offers a rotating menu with custom cookie options and a full menu at 209 S Royal Oaks Boulevard. Williamson County Source

- ➤ Flower Child, a fast-casual restaurant known for its healthy meals, will open its first Tennessee location at Southside at McEwen in Franklin on Tuesday, June 24 — the new spot features a hand-painted lemon mural and curated art installations to highlight its fresh menu. - ➤ Nationally acclaimed magician Drew Murray will perform two shows at Turner Theater in The Factory at Franklin on Thursday, June 12 — one at 6:30 p.m. and one at 8:30 p.m. His new act features a blend of close-up tricks and stage illusions that promise a unique evening of magic for local audiences.
