- ➤ A new Franklin Visitor Center will open this fall at The Factory in Suite 11GG, next to The White Alligator and directly across from Honest Coffee Roasters. The center will serve as a satellite of the downtown office to offer retail options, itinerary planning and ticket sales for local attractions. Williamson County Source
- ➤ Franklin Tomorrow, a local nonprofit, will mark 25 years with a summer party at Bicentennial Park’s new pavilion on Thursday, July 17 at 6 p.m. The event features a picnic-style dinner, drinks, music by local band The Exotics, and a networking space that will host other nonprofits — Refuge Center, Waves, One Generation Away, Hard Bargain Association, and GraceWorks — as part of its milestone year following a state resolution recognizing its work earlier this year. - ➤ This fall, The Factory at Franklin will open a new Franklin Visitor Center in partnership with Visit Franklin, located in Suite 11GG next to The White Alligator and across from Honest Coffee Roasters. - ➤ Sourdoughs of Somerset is turning its online bread orders into a restaurant set to open this fall at (701 Cool Springs Boulevard in Cool Springs). Today, it will host a pop-up event (1 pm to 3 pm next to The Well Coffeehouse) where customers can buy bread, salads, soups, pastries, and family meals. Williamson County Source
- ➤ Tennessee’s first Pop Mart vending machine opened over the 4th of July weekend at CoolSprings Galleria, located just outside Barnes & Noble on the lower level. The machine sells Labubus, Crybabys, and mystery boxes and has been selling out while the mall plans to restock it regularly. Williamson County Source

- ➤ Franklin Police Department is seeking help after a trailer was stolen outside SpringTree Media Group in the 1200 block of Lakeview Dr. just after 1 a.m. on July 9, and video shows a man wearing a t-shirt and shorts attaching the black trailer with DooLittle and red and white stripes — anyone with tips should call 6157942513. - ➤ Steve Branson, a former Williamson County Schools special education teacher who served as a principal in Wisconsin, has been named principal at Longview Elementary School and will begin his new duties immediately—Superintendent Jason Golden said he is expected to build strong ties with staff, students, and families as he returns to Spring Hill. - ➤ Voting is now open for the Franklin Tomorrow 'I Voted' sticker contest to choose the top four youth entries from over 160 submissions.
