- ➤ At its banquet on June 26 at the Old Natchez Country Club, the Franklin Noon Rotary transferred leadership from President Meghan Guffee to new president David Comer, who has served the club since 2016. Guffee highlighted over 20 service projects including a Hurricane Helene flooding response in East Tennessee, and Comer said he looks forward to guiding the club and its upcoming events like the 75th anniversary of the Franklin Rodeo. - ➤ Longtime YMCA of Middle Tennessee advocate Lawson C. Allen was named the recipient of the Y’s highest volunteer honor—the Order of the Red Triangle—during a board meeting on June 17.
