- ➤ Early Sunday, Arrington Fire and Rescue responded to an iPhone crash alert near Murfreesboro Road and Wilson Pike, where crews found a vehicle with heavy front-end damage and one person trapped; they stabilized the car, used hydraulic cutters and spreaders to free the patient, transported two people to the hospital, inspected a damaged utility pole, and cleared roadway debris—this was their fifth overnight call in six nights. - ➤ On Aug. 7 more than 60 people gathered at Rippa Villa Plantation in Spring Hill to view the unveiling of a bust honoring Anna Bunch—a slave-turned-free-woman who worked on the plantation before and after the Civil War.
