Friends of Williamson County Animal Center has expanded its free dog training to offer one-on-one sessions, online tutorials, and support for foster caregivers.

The program now serves five counties to prevent dog surrenders at 1006 Grigsby Hayes Court, Franklin.

Williamson County issued new business licenses from Aug.10 to Aug.17, including Franklin-area companies like Haven Dance + Pride In Ownership Handyman Services.

Additional licenses were granted to nearby businesses such as Pure Squeeze LLC in Franklin and The Muse Extension Studio in Brentwood.

Columbia State and the Franklin Fire Department partnered to launch an EMT Level I training program on Aug.
