- ➤ barre3 will open its new studio at Canteen on Carothers this summer at 793 Crescent Centre Dr. The 1,600-square-foot facility is co-owned by Nashville natives from Brentwood and will offer full-body workouts—adding fitness choices for the community. Williamson County Source

- ➤ Cam announced The Slow Down Tour with US dates starting October 20 and a hometown show at the Ryman Auditorium on October 26—marking her third time headlining the venue after once opening for Harry Styles. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ At the board meeting, the Williamson County Board of Education approved a one-time $2,000 bonus for full-time teachers with a 9—0 vote as part of its amended 2025–26 budget. Superintendent Jason Golden also addressed public comments that raised concerns about cell phone use during class and safety after reports of a threat at an elementary school. Williamson Herald

- ➤ Candidate Erinn Watkins, a U.S. Army veteran, started her campaign for Franklin’s Ward 2 alderman seat on Aug. 18 at the VFW Post 4893 where more than 30 supporters, including Commissioner Bill Petty, gathered. She promised to slow uncontrolled development—prioritizing taxpayer funds and infrastructure planning—as she challenges incumbent Matt Brown and businessman B.K.
