- ➤ The Cooper Trooper Pumpkin Patch will be open from October 18 to 31 at 530 Cool Springs Boulevard for its 16th year and will raise funds for childhood cancer research and sibling resources. - ➤ The Franklin Public Arts Commission met on August 20 to plan an arts district at The Factory at Franklin, where Alderman Matt Brown and Planning Director Emily Wright proposed art features like a decorative crosswalk and an arch—ideas that build on recent additions such as Turner Theater and the Carousel of Dreams; officials said they will seek grants and study feasibility before moving ahead.
