Davis House Advocacy Center for Children has three of its five HVAC units fail during the heat wave, causing warmer conditions for children and families.
The nonprofit is seeking donations & volunteer help to repair or replace the aged units.
Community Child Care Center added board members Mike Alday and Grey Lloyd to boost its affordable childcare programs.
Alday (a local public relations founder) and Lloyd (a sales professional at Magic Apple Technology) will serve on the center’s marketing and special events committees.
💼 Business
IveyCake has closed its storefront (at 117 Franklin Road) as it prepares to move, with current orders still being fulfilled while details on the new location remain pending.

The Tennessee Lottery released results from recent draws for Powerball, Mega Millions, and others on Sept.

🏛️ Government
Judge Denise Andre was celebrated by family, colleagues and community members this week in Williamson County for marking 20 years on the bench.
The judge, known for launching the DUI Recovery Court, said she looks forward to another 20 years of service.
🏥 Health
Williamson County establishments earned perfect 100 scores from health inspections conducted from Sept.
2 to Sept. 9. The Department of Health inspected food service and pool facilities — reports are posted for public view.
📰 Real Estate
Boyle Investment Co. plans to develop Asbury, a 375-acre mixed-use neighborhood on the former Harlin farm in south Franklin.
The project will feature 249 homes, shops, a boutique inn, and 200 acres of open space, with construction starting in early 2027.
Between August 17 and 21, 2026, Franklin saw multiple real estate transfers with sale prices ranging from $200,000 + over $6,000,000.
