Williamson County released new business licenses from Sept.
8 to Sept. 14 for several Franklin companies. Licensed businesses include a wood shop, hair salons, heating services, retail food and event services + party furniture rental.
🎭 Culture
Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival will return on April 10 and 11, 2027 at The Park at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin.
The two-day event will offer music, art and food to celebrate the local community.
📰 Economy
Tennessee gas prices climbed 11 cents to $3.92 per gallon on Monday, Sept.
14 + AAA said rising crude oil costs could push prices higher later this week.
🎓 Education
Shepherds College expanded its postsecondary model in Franklin with its new Empowered for Life (E4L) program to help young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities build independence, life skills and career readiness.
Students can apply now to start full- or part-time classes on Nov. 2.

Crumbl has a rotating dessert menu running Sept.
14 to 19 that features new gourmet treats like ice cream cake sandwich cookie and snickerdoodle skillet cookie. Customers can visit local shops to sample these limited-time desserts.

Middle Tennessee high school football games were played on Sept.
11 as teams across the region competed; local teams from Franklin (Franklin 26, Coffee Co. 20 and Franklin Christian 52, Collinwood 21) recorded wins, according to TSSAA.
