  • Franklin Makers Market will hold free holiday festivities on November 15 from 11 AM—4 PM at Westhaven Lakefront, featuring over 100 craft and artisan vendors, food, and a visit from Santa. The event is family-friendly and supports local makers and small businesses.  Williamson County Source

  • Vans will open at CoolSprings Galleria soon for shoppers to enjoy its iconic footwear and skate culture style. The store will be on the upper level next to Belk until an opening date is announced.  Williamson County Source

CULTURE NEWS

  • Six live shows are set for the week as Keith Urban will perform at Bridgestone Arena on Friday October 17, Jacob Collier will appear at Ascend Amphitheater on Tuesday October 14, Tedeschi Trucks Band will play at FirstBank Amphitheater in Franklin on Wednesday October 15, Noah Cyrus will take the stage at Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday October 15, Mudvayne will celebrate 25 years on Saturday October 18, and rising country artist Ty Myers will perform at The Pinnacle on Friday October 17 — each event featuring special guests and unique musical offerings.  Williamson County Source
  • Puckett’s is hosting live music events this October across local venues—an Open Mic Night that was held on Oct. 12 at Hendersonville, a MTSU Rhythm series that will take place in Murfreesboro on Oct. 14 and Oct. 28, and a Hitmakers Series set for Oct. 16 at Franklin, Columbia, and Hendersonville. Some shows require a $20 spend or a credit card reservation.  Williamson County Source
  • Franklin music fans can explore a fresh list of releases today—Noah Cyrus debuts the deluxe version of her album while Ty Myers, Lauren Watkins, Atlus, Dasha, Cody Jinks, Priscilla Block, Southall and Mae Estes unveil new tracks in Americana, country, indie folk and pop. Priscilla Block also announced her headline show at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium set for March 4.  Williamson County Source
  • Franklin's FirstBank Amphitheater is wrapping up its season with its last shows—Tedeschi Trucks Band with Little Feat on October 15 at 7:30 p.m.—and Seether & Daughtry with P.O.D. and Kami Kehoe on October 24 at 7:00 p.m. before the venue pauses until next year.  Williamson County Source

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Franklin Tomorrow announced its Quarterly Breakfast with the Mayors event, set for October 21 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. at Liberty Hall at The Factory at Franklin; the free event invites community members and youth (middle school and above) to join discussions on building a healthy democracy with local leaders.  Williamson County Source

LIFESTYLE NEWS

  • Nine farms in Middle Tennessee are hosting hayrides, pumpkin patches and corn mazes for family fun this fall—some offer games, food and themed events. Franklin spots like Cooper Trooper Pumpkin Patch and Gentry Farm charge tickets ranging from $10 to $19.95 and remain open until Halloween or early November.  Williamson County Source
