BUSINESS NEWS

  • VCA McKay's Mill Animal Hospital opened its new facility at 1000 Longpoint Way in Franklin on November 2—featuring eight exam rooms, a modern surgical suite and a dental suite to better serve local pets. It has provided care for local animals for over 17 years.  Williamson County Source

CULTURE NEWS

  • The photo of the day from November 3 was submitted by John Anderson, showing the British Car Club of Nashville event at Holy Family in Brentwood—locals are invited to share their own original photos.  Williamson County Source
  • Rippa Villa, owned by Spring Hill and managed by The Battle of Franklin Trust, received a $100,000 grant from the Tennessee State Museum for capital improvements— the funding will stabilize its stone pier foundation, chimney and interior with work to be completed by June 30, 2026.  Williamson Herald

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Middle Tennessee State University started a new center called QRISE at its Science Building in Murfreesboro on October 31 to grow quantum research and train students for future jobs—partners like Oak Ridge National Lab and Middle Tennessee Electric joined the event. The center has already secured millions in federal grants and will help build a strong quantum future in Tennessee.  Williamson County Source

  • Franklin resident BK Muvvala announced his candidacy for Williamson County Mayor today—he is a community advocate, small business owner, and education champion who vows to drive smart growth, improve schools, and enhance public safety with a clear 100-day plan.  Williamson Herald

  • Franklin residents can enjoy Crumbl’s limited-time desserts available from November 3—8, featuring treats like New York Cheesecake, Classic Fudge Brownie, and Pumpkin Sheet Cake. SPORTS NEWS

  • The Titans lost 27—20 to the Chargers at Nissan Stadium after early special teams plays gave them a spark, but missed drives and penalties hurt their offense and led to a key 99—yard drive by the Chargers. They fell to a 1—8 record and will play the Houston Texans on November 16 after their bye weekend.  Williamson County Source
