  • Franklin Tomorrow hosted the final FrankTalks discussion Monday at Columbia State Community College, where leaders from FrankTown Open Hearts, GraceWorks Ministries and One Generation Away shared 2025 achievements and plans for 2026 — highlighting how their programs helped over 18,000 people.   • Rumble on the Row 22nd Annual Ringside will take place on Friday, March 6 at The Factory’s Liberty Hall in Franklin to benefit The Charley Foundation. CULTURE NEWS

  • Forrest Frank will headline his Jesus Generation Tour at Geodis Park on June 19 — with special guests Tori Kelly, Cory Asbury and The Figs — while public ticket sales began today at 10 a.m. after a presale started Dec. 10.  Williamson County Source
  • Christmas with the King returns at Franklin Theatre with an Elvis tribute show featuring Cote Deonath, a visit from Santa, and classic hits. The holiday concert has four performances (3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.) on Saturday, Dec. 13 and Sunday, Dec. 14.  Williamson County Source
  • Franklin Rodeo was named a top-five national finalist for the Sowing Good Deeds Award presented by Hesston by Massey Ferguson, recognizing 74 years of community support and charity contributions. The rodeo will return May 14-16 next year.  Williamson Herald

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Homeland Security Investigations' Dennis Fetting spoke at Legacy Middle School to alert parents and teachers about online risks such as grooming and financial sextortion, noting that limited phone use in classrooms may help ease these issues.  Williamson Herald
  • Two Williamson County assistant principals were honored by TNASSP. Woodland Middle School's Dr. Bill Toungette earned Middle School Assistant Principal of the Year and will compete nationally (Brentwood High's Dr. Kawonia Mull was named High School Assistant Principal of the Year for Middle Tennessee).  Williamson County Source
  • Carol Birdsong retires from Williamson County Schools after 28 years, with her last day set for Jan. 30, 2026. Assistant communications director Cory Mason, who has worked closely with her for 18 years, will take over her role while she prepares to travel and spend time with family.  Williamson Herald

  • Cracker Barrel in Franklin is running holiday promotions for families.
