Mention The Exotics to many Nashville and Middle Tennessee natives who were coming of age in the 60's and 70's and they'll immediately recall good times... good times at high school dances, outdoor driveway parties, "combos" at a friend's house, summer pool parties and college fraternity and sorority events. The original Exotics were friends from Franklin and Columbia Tennessee, three of whom attended Battle Ground Academy. When paired with The Spidels, four Nashville soul singers, who performed sets backed by The Exotics, it became a not-to-miss happening.

The Exotics were constantly busy playing college dates all around the Southeast including half time shows in locations such as Neyland Stadium, Vanderbilt Stadium and even The Sugar Bowl in New Orleans. The Exotics are still alive and kicking and performing just for the fun and joy of playing this music. The band plays together on several gigs a year for wedding receptions, school reunions, birthday parties, street festivals and various other events. Recent appearances have been in locations such as Mercy Lounge in Nashville, Puckett's in Franklin, Franklin's July 4 celebration, and The Franklin Theatre. One of the band's fondest memories is playing at The Safari Beach Motel in Daytona Beach Florida where they met and became friends with The Allman Joys (later The Allman Brothers Band) and swapped sets at the motel and the night club where The Allman Joys were playing. The band has grown from the original four members starting in 1964, to seven players (four rhythm and three horns) and covers songs from the sixties, seventies and a few from the eighties. Most people that attend their performances tend to want the sixties Motown style, Beatles, Rolling Stones just to name a few. The fun continues and as long as there is a following, The Exotics will continue to play fun, happy and nostalgic music.

The Whiskey Room Live is a music venue inside KINGS BOWLING Franklin / Cool Springs Mall. Free parking, ALL AGES SHOW. The Whiskey Room offers a full food & drink menu available throughout the event!

All Whiskey Room ticket holders receive 50% bowling after the show. Show your wristband at the front desk. Offer only valid on the night of show. Last bowling start time available is 11pm to finish your game by midnight.
